Tours and School Groups
Tours, school groups, and any large groups visiting the data center should be arranged in advance. Group visits can be made by e-mailing the Director. You can also call the Data Center to arrange a visit by dialing 401-863-2417.

The Brown University/NASA Data Center is located in Room 216 on the second floor of the Lincoln Field Building on the Brown University campus in Providence, Rhode Island. The Lincoln Field Building is right off of Lincoln Field, near the Main Green.

Directions to Brown University and the Data Center

From the North
From I-95, take Exit 24 (Branch Ave). Turn left on Branch Ave. At the light, bear right on North Main St. Follow Main Street several blocks until just past University Heights Shopping Center on your left; then turn left at the light with the green arrow onto Olney St. Turn right at Prospect St. and continue along prospect until you reach the campus.

From the South
From I-95, take exit 20, I-195 East. Then take exit 2, Wickenden St., to the stop light. Follow signs to Benefit St., the second left after the light. Continue along Benefit to College St. Turn right on College St. and proceed up the hill to the Van Wickle Gates at the intersection with Prospect St.

From the East
Take I-195 to the second providence exit, Marked South Main St. Follow South Main past the Old Stone Bank (gold dome) to College St. Turn right on college Street and proceed up the hill to the Van Wickle Gates at the intersection with Prospect St.

The Brown/NASA Northeast Regional Planetary Data Center is operated as cooperative effort by NASA's Planetary Geology and Geophysics Program and Brown University. The Data Center is part of a network of Regional Planetary Image Facilities (RPIF's) located throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan.
