Hello! I am Chris Havlin, a recent Ph.D. graduate of the Solid Earth Dynamics group in the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences at Brown University. My general research area is geophysical fluid dynamics and I have interests in a broad range of research topics, mostly related to multiphase systems. Check out my research page and CV if you're interested!
Though my research keeps me tied to the lab, my hobbies keep me in close contact with rocks and I've collected some interesting photos over the years. A few of the photos are hosted here, but I also write an occasionally updated geophototravel blog, gneissviews.blogspot.com.
