I am an experimental geophysicist interested in mineral and rock physics, with applications to the dynamics of the Earth and planets.
My current research interests include:
Ice physics with an emphasis on rheological behavior
Tribological behavior of minerals and rocks at both quasi-static and coseismic slip rates relevant to earthquake mechanics
Nanoindentation of minerals with implications for earthquake mechanics and low-temperature plasticity in the Earth
